Autumn Event
Our Autumn Event takes place on a Sunday Afternoon close to United Nations day on October 24th.
This usually takes place in a place of worship in the centre of Reading.
We have a theme, and invite speakers from different faith backgrounds to share their insights. The audience also has an opportunity to contribute their insights on the theme.
Reading Interfaith Group has always emphasised the importance of sharing hospitality. Giving and receiving food is also a form of dialogue.
Traditionally the Autumn Event is followed by a Bring and Share tea. Our supporters tend to include some very enthusiastic cake makers.
The Autumn Event is a very good way to make friends from the different faith communities around Reading.
Let us bring equality, justice, and peace for all. Not just the politicians and the world leaders, we all need to contribute. Me. You. It is our duty. Malala Yousafzai (Nobel Prize Winner 2014)
