Membership
Role of members
Members support Reading Interfaith Group in many ways.
They ensure we carry out the aims of our group.
At the AGM they review the past year, appoint our trustees, and vote on any big decisions.
Members may propose events such as a talk or visit to their place of worship. Trustees will then work with them to achieve this.
Members may contribute articles for our newsletter
Members provide a vital channel of communication by telling the wider community about Reading Interfaith Group and what we are all working to achieve.
Members may encourage other groups to organise interfaith events which can then be advertised in our newsletter.
Peace is costly but it is worth the expense.
